SCHOLARSHIPS
Alpha Omega Epsilon: UBC Engineering Diversity Scholarship
In
an effort to encourage diversity, we hope to extend this scholarship to both
male and female engineering students in future years. Winner will receive
a $250 USD scholarship.
Eligibility:
Applicants must be women enrolled in the Faculty of Applied Science in Engineering
at the University of British Columbia and must not be a member or membership
candidate of Alpha Omega Epsilon. Applicants must be enrolled in full-time
undergraduate studies. Applicants must have at least 1 term of undergraduate
studies to complete starting the September following award distribution. Applicants
must not be receiving full tuition funding from other scholarships.
Qualifications:
Winner will be selected on the basis of community involvement, extracurricular
activities, academic achievements, proven leadership skills and the ability
to hold responsibility, and the desire and ambition to achieve high levels of
personal and professional success.
