DONNA CHANG

I'm 24 years old and graduated from Computer Engineering in 2003. My hobbies include reading sci-fi, learning to play the acoustic guitar, playing sports (mainly soccer and hockey) and of course, being involved in AOE as an alumni member.

After graduation a few years ago, my boyfriend and I went to Europe for 2 months. It was my first time off this continent and I was very nervous, but I had an incredible time. Upon return from my whirlwind trip, I worked as a tutor and a technical writer before landing my current job as a Software Engineer at MDA (www.mda.ca). I am working on a training simulator project for the Canadian Navy and really enjoying my job. MDA does so many things (satellite image processing, robotics, e-business… you name it!) that I don’t think I could ever get bored. ;)

I've really gained a lot from being part of AOE, and am learning a whole new side of things in my role as the alumni advisor. Everything from convention to organized events to just hanging out with friends has been a real experience. I know there are great ideas for the upcoming year, and I look forward to wonderful events and even more memories.
