25th Anniversary Celebration
Sisters, please join us in celebrating Alpha Omega Epsilon's 25th Anniversary November 14-15, 2008. The celebration will be held in the heart of downtown Milwaukee at the beautiful Hilton Milwaukee City Center (the old Marc Plaza). The weekend agenda has not yet been finalized but will include a bowling tournament, relaxing at the Paradise Landing Indoor Waterpark located at the hotel, and a celebratory dinner dance in addition to other activities. Join us in celebrating our Sisterhood. Reconnect with old friends and make some new ones. More information to follow - we hope to see you there!
 

Chi ChapterChi Chapter Installation
On Saturday, March 29, 2008, 9 ladies from the George Washington University in Washington, DC were installed as the Chi Chapter of Alpha Omega Epsilon. Jen Kalbaugh (IEB Director of Expansion) and Lindsay Hassell (IEB VP) conducted the workshops and installation. Also joining the ladies of GWU for the day was local alumnae: Catherine Ross (Rho), Liana Algarin (Rho), and Jordan Hamann (Delta). Not only are the ladies of George Washington proud of their hard work and accomplishments of gaining chapter status, but are also hopeful for what A.O.E. can give to other women of the engineering community. SDSU ColonySouth Dakota State University Colony Installation
On Saturday, February 23, 2008, 7 women at South Dakota State University in Brookings, SD were installed as the newest colony of Alpha Omega Epsilon. Jen Kalbaugh (IEB Director of Expansion), Debby Gruhn (Beta), Melissa Reis (Beta), and 2 Beta Actives joined the ladies of SDSU for the workshops and installation. The day's events were held on the campus of SDSU in the University Student Union where other members of the Greek community on campus stopped by throughout the day to show their support for the ladies of A.O.E. The Colony Founders at SDSU are very excited to now be a part of an organization with an atmosphere where they feel they can bond under a sisterhood, as well as empower themselves to continue striving and succeeding in male-dominated professions. Binghamton ColonyBinghamton University
Colony Installation
On Saturday, February 9, 2008, 10 women at Binghamton University in Vestal, NY were installed as Alpha Omega Epsilon’s newest colony. Jen Kalbaugh (IEB Director of Expansion) and 8 ladies from our Zeta Chapter joined the Binghamton ladies for the day’s events. The workshops and installation were held on campus in the Engineering Building, commonly referred to by the ladies as the unfinished parking garage. The Colony Founders at Binghamton are very excited to have an outlet for the women in the Watson School of Engineering to not only advance academically and professionally, but also to feel they have a place where they can socialize with other women in the male dominated field of engineering. Phi ChapterPhi Chapter Installation
9 women studying engineering at Lamar University in Beaumont, TX, were installed as charter members of the Phi Chapter of Alpha Omega Epsilon on Saturday November 17, 2007. The IEB Vice President, Lindsay Hassell, facilitated the ceremony along with Emily Lintner (Alpha Chapter) and Colleen Boggs (Pi Chapter). The ceremony was followed by a celebratory dinner at the Texas Roadhouse with all 9 initiates and 3 facilitators in attendance. These ladies have worked hard to become a Chapter and are continuing to work hard as they embark on this new phase. Our website can now be found on www.alphaomegaepsilon.org and all of our email addresses have been changed with this new domain name. During the transition, the old "aoesorority.org" domain will continue to function, but please update your bookmarks and address books to reflect the new domain.
